Q. I get this message each time I run MaxxTraxx: “The Publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?”

Answer:

Open Internet Explorer. Click on Tools (if you're running Windows 7, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner (Tools) or do Alt+X.) Choose "Internet options". Click on the "Security" tab at the top, then on "Local intranet." Click on the button marked “Sites”, and remove the check mark from "Automatically detect intranet network", and check the 3 boxes below that. Click OK, and OK to close the options window and try launching Maxx again and see if the warning goes away.
