Error trying to Delete a Part from RO

Q. I deleted a core from the repair order and now cannot delete the part.

Answer:

When a part is stuck on the RO and missing the attached core, this is due to an old bug in the software. If you are experiencing this, please contact Technical Support to have the part manually removed by a tech. We apologize for the inconvenience. That bug has been fixed.

Part Price Changes

Q. When I have a Repair Order open and have already posted a long list a parts and a manager has decided they want to give them the parts at a different price code how can I switch the price of the parts that are already on the job. Before in Motor Traxx we could just do control+p and just change it.

Answer:

Go into the Repair Order, highlight the part(s) you want to change the price on, right click and choose Edit this Part. Click on the down arrow next to the part price and choose the price code you want. Click Ok. This has to be done to each part that you want to change the price on. In MotorTraxx, 10 keystrokes, in MaxxTraxx, 5 clicks.

Unable to see the OK button on my RO

Q. I opened an RO, but it's too big to fit my screen and I can't see the Ok button to save my RO. What can I do?

Answer:

Somehow the window your RO is in has been resized to a size too large for your screen. You probably are able to see one corner, most likely the upper left. If you can get your mouse pointer positioned over the corner you should see the diagonal double arrow. Once you see it, hold down your left button on your mouse and you can drag that corner down and right to "shrink" the window. Doing that will allow you to move it back up to where you can see the Ok button again, and continue to close the RO.
